About Us
Kingston Chamber Orchestra performs three times a year in the beautiful All Saints Church in the centre of Kingston, Surrey.
We have a tradition of innovative concert programming that encompasses many areas of the repertoire, such as:
classical overtures, concertos and symphonies;
works for smaller orchestra from the 19th and 20th centuries;
neglected works by well known composers;
new works specially commissioned by the orchestra
History
The KCO was formed in 1986, as a chamber orchestra responding to the need for the performance of classical music in Kingston upon Thames and the wider district, and a near professional standard of orchestra to attract serious instrumentalists who wish to perform on a regular basis.
