The Aidan Woodcock Charity is putting on two concerts at the beginning of September 2008. The charity promotes, maintains and advances education by the encouragement of the art or science of music. The first is on Monday 1 September at St. Teresa's Senior School, Beech Avenue, Effingham Hill, Dorking. The second is on Tuesday 2 September at Kingston Parish Church, Market Street, Kingston upon Thames.

The programme, which is the same for both concerts, is as follows:

  • Dvorak: Sextet
  • Brahms: Sextet in G major

The performers are five talented young musicians, three of whom were formerly at the Yehudi Menuhin School, and their leader, Arisa Fujita.

Both concerts start at 7.30pm and the tickets at £5 each are available at the door from 7.00 p.m. Students will be admitted free. If you require any further information, please contact Aidan Woodcock (01932 868054) or Elspeth Arden (01372 458828 or by e-mail at ema (at) f2s.com.
